OPM - Issue Resolution

Introduction

This tutorial guides you through the issue resolution process using the integrated service inside OpenPlant Modeler. It is designed for designers and project participants who need to efficiently manage and resolve issues related to plant design projects.

Step 1: Accessing Issues in OpenPlant Modeler

• When an issue is created on the plant site, it automatically displays in OpenPlant Modeler.
• Review issues in two formats:

• Highlight the component that requires attention.
• Populate the issue form with the following details:
  • Assign the issue to a specific user.
  • Provide a clear description with relevant instructions.
• Optional: Add visual markups to clarify the issue. Use markup tools to:
  • Draw graphics.
  • Place text.
  • Highlight specific objects.

Step 4: Managing Issues

• Select the "Manage Issues" command to view all assigned issues.
• Use filters to sort issues by user, making it easier to locate specific items.
• Utilize the "Fit to View" option to quickly focus on an issue that needs your attention.

Step 5: Modifying the Model

• Check out the specific line you need to modify based on the issue notes.
• Once the line is active in the model, proceed with the necessary modifications, such as replacing a valve with a different type.
