How to Install Arch Linux in VirtualBox (2023)

Prerequisites:

• Ensure hardware virtualization is enabled on your Windows 11 PC.
• Download VirtualBox and Arsenalinex 2023 ISO from the provided links.
• Allocate sufficient RAM, CPU cores, and disk space for the virtual machine.

Step 1: Install VirtualBox

1. Open your browser and download VirtualBox for your PC.
2. Double click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install VirtualBox.

Step 2: Create a Virtual Machine

1. Open VirtualBox and click on the "New" button.

2. Exit the CH root environment, type "shutdown" to power off the virtual machine.
3. In VirtualBox settings, remove the Arch ISO from the virtual machine.
4. Restart the virtual machine to apply changes.

Step 7: Enable Additional Functionalities

1. Open Terminal and update the system.
2. Install kernel headers.
3. Insert Guest Additions from the menu bar.
4. Copy and paste all files into the documents directory.
5. Navigate to the documents directory in Terminal.

Step 8: Deleting the Virtual Machine
