Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Set Up and Use GroTrack Camera

1. Unboxing and Charging the Camera:

   • Open the box and remove the camera by lifting the black tab.
   • Plug in the camera to charge securely to the charging port.
   • Hold down the button on the upper right side to power on the device. It will take about 30 seconds to power on.

2. Connecting to Wi-Fi:

   • Open Esper settings and select Wi-Fi.
   • Choose the desired Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
   • Make sure the device is connected to Wi-Fi before proceeding to the GroTrack app.

3. Testing Wi-Fi Connection:

   • Go to the GroTrack app and search for an existing patient using their first or last name.
   • If you see registered patients or no patients found, your Wi-Fi connection is successful.
   • If there's an error, delete and re-enter the Wi-Fi network in Esper settings.

4. Troubleshooting and Restarting:

   • If the camera freezes, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds to restart.
   • If the camera doesn't turn on, perform a manual reset by holding the power button and inserting a pen into the reset holes.

5. Using the GroTrack App:

   • Log in using your username and password.
   • Search for existing patients by name or other registered information.
   • Register a new patient by entering their details for automatic upload into the portal.

6. Preparing for Image Capture:

   • Ensure the patient is in a well-lit room with a clean center part.
   • Have necessary items ready: camera, water spray bottle, marking pen, measuring tape, comb, clips, and elastics.

7. Global Image Capture Process:

   • Follow the template on the screen to position the patient correctly for image capture.
   • Mark points on the head and measure distances accurately for consistent results.
   • Capture images at specific locations on the head using the camera lens between your fingers.

8. Close-Up Image Capture:

   • Dampen specific locations on the head and comb the hair flat to the scalp.
   • Ensure clean, straight, and centered partings for accurate image capture.
   • Use the template for guidance and adjust as needed for temples and other locations.

9. Uploading Images and Completing Session:

   • After capturing images, turn off the LED and sanitize the lens.
   • Images should upload into the software portal in less than two minutes.

10. Handling Difficult Hair Situations:

• Patients with shorter or unruly hair may require additional techniques like using gel or extra care during image capture.
